First of all, God has given me very beautiful weather in these couple days. And I did take a walk through a beautiful field to Ware for twice time. I also bought some new or sound-hand stuff for my new life. Especially a small carpet I bought today, it let my room seem more like a home, make my room warmer. I also attended a late birthday party for Viginia, who is a return student from Taiwan. And we went to a pub in Stanstead Abbort. This is my first time go to a British pub. I feel so funny that I can experience so much new things here.
Thank God that he gave my couple wonderful days and help me to relax and to adjust to a new condition. Although my English is not so smooth and good enough, but I believe that He would help me and give me strength and talent to respond anything in the future.

Today is my first Sunday in ANCC. Akiko, the head student in this coming term, invited us to go to her church. After breakfast, nine people, including Fan and me, gathered together and drove to her church.
This is a small church, only 17members, mostly old people. Although they are small, they are also supporting about 13 missionaries oversea. And when I told them I am from Taiwan, they really know that what is Taiwan and know where it is. I’m so surprised it.
I’m so happy to go to this small church. Akiko has told me that when the term is start, our school will ask us to fill a form and help us to find a suitable church to stay. I can’t wait to join in a British church and serve with them, although it might be a small church and full of old people. But I think it could be a special experience for my life.
After lunch, Bridget and Akiko ask me to go to IKEA. It made us so exciting, and was doing our job harder and quicker. 2.30 p.m., Teasuk drove us to IKEA, it is close to London and we drove over 40 minetus. Although it is a little far, but we also feel so exciting to seeking everything we need.
On this trip, I try to find a suitable lamp for my room. But I can’t find anyone so that I give up to buy it. I only buy a piece of fabric, a koppla and an organizer. Thank God that I didn’t buy any lamp in IKEA, because I found a new desk-lamp in basement. It is quite good and new. So that put the old one, which is already in my room as my bad-lamp and this new one as my desk-lamp.
Now my room is more like a home. I wish I can set it out in the first month and really enjoy my life in ANCC.

I don’t know how to mention what happened. May be I can give it a title as “The Story of Laptop Alive”. Yesterday, when I finished my jobs, I was so happy that I could take a rest and try to turn on my laptop for listening music. But the laptop didn’t work! I was sooooo sad and took a phone call back to Taiwan to talk with my best friend. I even sent a prayer letter to all the supporters to pray for the financial of a new laptop. Later, I met Teasuk and told him this bad news. Then he asked me to bring the laptop to him. Fortunately, he fixed it. The laptop is alive now!
Although I solved the big problem but another problem is coming. I think there is more supporters would like to offer specifically for new computer. How should I tell them the problem is solved? I think I should honestly to let them know the truth and let them make a decision. Although I really want a new computer, I should get it in right way. May God give me an honest mind to face any desire.
Otherwise, today is the day of new student arriving. I have no work to do. So I went to visit the library and to know some new faces. I also got my formal student card and library card. I’m now is a real student of ANCC. And the welcome meeting took place at the evening. The meeting, including the worship and speech, was soooo good, so touched me. Especially the director, Mike Wall, challenged us not only expect what you want. We should expect more than we think. To expect God’s work upon us because we are God’s work! (1 Thessalonians 2:13)
I’m so A-MAN for this message. I would like to see how God fulfill his work upon me, not only prepare me as a worker. We will see what God have done on me.
