由於昨晚打籃球之故，似乎不好入睡，導致我今早六點半就起床，吃哈蜜瓜和餅乾等看王建民比賽，而阿民也沒讓早起的我失望，雖然在第二局送出三個四壞球，但我認為是主審好球帶問題，不然應該是這中間有兩個人應該要被三振而不是四壞保送。

今天照例起床看球，但照例無體力從第一局開始看，我都多半選擇五或六局再看，因為五到六局就能知道王建民體力與投球內容如何。投得差，可能我壓根看不到他投五或六局，投得中等應該還能看到他投五六局，好的話就是七八局了。

今天很意外看到他投到第九局，還完封了我最擔心的對手之一：魔鬼魚！老天爺，這種開心真難言喻，比趙見民被抓去關還讓我開心。我幾乎是隨著洋基球迷第九局時對阿民表現同步開心，從他第九局解決第一人次時一直鼓掌，到第二個，第三個！太銷魂了，我終於看到台灣第一位投手投出大聯盟完封勝！阿民的第12勝到手，我的睡眠不足有了代價，期待下週四的第13勝！

圖說：今天阿民頻頻拭汗，看得出來心裡壓力不小，但他沒有一局爆，六局失四分，勉強及格了，不像萊特前天一局爆，今天九局被罰上場代跑的情況，還真讓人難忘，也算是對他一種教訓吧！花大錢買來的投手卻經常爆...（洋基好像常做這種事..）

由於阿民這場比賽，是23日凌晨四點，胖寶不願意這麼準時起床看，寧願早起看七八局，或再看重播，還好我一起來，六點半看的時候，洋基就開始反敗為勝了，難道我是幸運星？哈哈。

就我看這場的感覺，這場主審的好球帶似乎窄一點點，但阿民首球或前兩球通常容易變壞球，阿民的滑球似乎還是老掉太外面騙不到打者，伸卡球在這種人工草地球場很容易滾動，害我看的很ㄘㄨㄚ…

但是棒球就是這樣，你投得超好未必贏(想想國民隊那次準完投敗，被打再見全壘打)，投不好也未必輸，特別是洋基現在打線還是這麼鳥的狀態(大家想想沒有松井秀喜、威廉斯、卡諾)，阿民現在竟然能維持到十一勝，真是不簡單，希望他能達到我今年的預估十七勝七敗，這樣，阿民就出運了！以下為轉貼文章，給大家討論討論。

但今天這場球我也是有看啦，一早起來看，我認為王建民這場比賽沒有太大失誤，投得都不錯，掉那兩分還真是隊友幫他掉的，三支安打被拿兩分，還真是悶。

唯一要建議阿民的是，你今天的內角球投得不太好，太容易被看出壞球。雖然最後好壞球比例快變成　2:1，和魔鬼魚隊的先發投手幾乎是1:1的內容來看，阿民算不錯。下一場阿民要對紅襪，嘿嘿，不知為何，總覺得會是場勝投...我想太多了...回過頭來講，雖然沒拿下勝投做了場白工，但內容不錯，希望阿民找回自信，下一場更加油，對了，我想要公視的阿民搖頭公仔....

順道一提，在政府一團亂的情況下，社會經濟沒有出口，唯一的希望，是看王建民在世界的舞台上K掉或解決掉一位打者.....

昨天力挺王建民，睡到一半真的興奮到起來看棒賽，喔不是，是棒球賽，差一個字差很多，沒想到阿民果然不負我夜半爆肝看球賽，給了一次完美的比賽，更堪稱是史上他投過最完美比賽了（彌補了我之前去美國卻無緣看他比賽，還好沒看，那場他投不佳，去年有一場他敗投我也剛好在紐約，看來以後去紐約還是不要去洋基球場好了，免得他又輸），掉的那兩分，根本可以都不用失的，因為球投得好，純粹被打成內野高彈跳球，都不是了得的強打。

阿民此役不算太差，被打全壘打那球也是低球被撈
很可惜阿民無緣在分區晉級中添一勝，洋基打線鳥掉是不爭的事實
防守三次漏洞更是鳥到最高點，只能說，阿民責失一分也是敗投，這就是人生啦

The Angels reminded the Yankees on Wednesday night that they weren't going
down without a fight, overcoming a two-run deficit to hand the Bombers a 5-3
loss in Game 2 of the American League Division Series.

洋基知道贏球不容易吧？天使隊今天讓對手知道他們不會
連掙扎都不掙扎就放棄這個系列，從兩分落後的情勢中，

All things considered, the Yankees return home in good shape, having split
the first two games of the series on the road. With Randy Johnson set to
start Game 3 on Friday, New York has its big gun locked and loaded, ready to
give them the lead in the best-of-five series.

整體而言，洋基帶著一勝一負的戰績回家，還算不錯，Ｒｊ將會在第三

Many questioned how Chien-Ming Wang would respond to the pressure of the
postseason, but the rookie showed no signs of nervousness.

Wang allowed four runs -- only one of which was earned -- on six hits in 6
2/3 innings. After walking six in his final start of the regular season, he

Wang's trademark sinker was working wonders, as the rookie retired the first

: dispense with some business before discussing the rookie's chances against the
: Angels:

: BALTIMORE, Sept. 28 - It was 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, and Chien-Ming Wang
: was already in full uniform. He was one of the first Yankees in the
: clubhouse, and the Fox network needed him for a promo. It was yet another
: example of something that seemed implausible six months ago.
: "Before the year, you see the starting pitchers for the Yankees and you say,
: 'If they're healthy, there's no way these guys are coming up there,' "
: said Wil Nieves, the catcher for Class AAA Columbus this season. "But you
: never know. If someone got injured, Wang was ready down there. He just
: needed a chance."

: position for such a critical start. Wright, who is now in the Yankees'
: bullpen, can relate.

: It was a heady assignment, but Wright said he was not intimidated. He
: carried a one-hit shutout into the seventh inning.
: "It's just happening so fast, and you're just kind of riding it," Wright
: said. "It's not something you think about, because you don't really know
: any different. You just think that's the way it's supposed to be."
: Wright, who would have won if the Florida Marlins had not rallied against
: Jose Mesa in the ninth, remembered feeling no pressure. He felt
: invincible, he said, because all he had known was success.
: "Your confidence is so high," Wright said. "There's never been a valley."
: Wang's story is different, because the two-month layoff was an obvious
: setback in his splendid season. But Wright said he sensed that Wang was
: always relaxed and comfortable.

1997年，當克里夫蘭印地安人指派Wright擔任世界大賽第七戰先發時，他年僅21歲、

: exceptional, as Wright learned while they recovered from their injuries
: this summer.
: "He came down to Tampa, and we started playing catch, and he had the
: heaviest ball that I've ever played catch with, as far as sinkers,"
: Wright said. "If you could teach everyone what you need to make a ball
: that heavy, then everybody would do it. That's such a valuable pitch,
: and he throws an absolute bowling ball."
: The pitch has been dropping better than ever lately. In Wang's past
: two starts, he has gotten 35 of 45 outs on ground balls. Two starts ago,
: he fielded nine grounders himself, two shy of the one-game assists
: record for a pitcher.

萊特說，還有另外一個理由可以證明王是可以仰賴的，那就是王犀利的沈球（伸卡）。

No decision for Wang, but a major assist

Chien-Ming Wang never will be confused with Nolan Ryan for his
strikeout totals. And he'll probably never get mentioned in the
same sentence with Roger Clemens when the discussion turns to
throwing the splitter.

But after last night's gem of an outing against Baltimore, both
pitching on and bouncing off the mound, you just might hear
Wang's name in the same conversation as, say, Jason Kidd.
Last night Wang, in just his third start since being reinstated
from the disabled list with shoulder inflammation, mesmerized
the Orioles by allowing just two runs and seven hits over eight
innings along with a stunning nine assists.

但是，在昨晚對 Baltimore的激戰之後（投手丘上下都跑遍了．．）

"The thing I saw from him that made us all smile in the dugout
were all the ground balls," Joe Torre said after the Yankees
pulled within a half game of division-leading Boston. "When
he's down like that you feel pretty comfortable."

Wang struggled a bit in the first and third innings, with the
Orioles scoring a run in each stanza. But for the rest of the
game he was brilliant. After allowing three hits in the first
inning, Wang settled down and yielded just four hits the rest
of the way, walking one and fanning three.

王建民在一三局分別遇上小亂流，讓對手分別攻下一分。除此之外，
他表現相當出色。在首局被擊出三支安打後，他穩住陣腳，在接下來

"(In the first inning) the balls were high," said Wang, who
matched his career high by going eight innings. "The sinkers
didn't sink."

But from there on it was almost as if Wang wanted to take care
of the Birds single-handedly. Even Torre was amazed at the
ground Wang covered around the mound.

"There were a couple of fast runners that hit balls off to the
side of the mound," Torre said. "He was a cat coming off the

Wang's nine assists, surprisingly, were neither a team nor
major league milestone. The record of 11 assists is held by
five different pitchers, including the New York Highlanders' Al

So while he didn't find his way into the record books, Wang
might just have found himself a more permanent spot in Torre's
rotation, especially with the availability of Mike Mussina and
Jaret Wright still in question.

"Hopefully we'll have a tough decision to make," Torre
said. "Obviously this is Wang's best since he's been back. We
know what he's capable of because the first half (of the
season) he was terrific for us."
