攝影師起家的捷克導演F.A. Brabec，延續2003年《野花Wild Flowers》的唯美風格，改編Karel Hynek Mácha的抒情詩《五月 May》而成的浪漫之作，預告片中，俊男、美女、妖怪、農民、捷克鄉村風景，與《野花》的影像風格如出一轍。在音樂方面，不過他這次並未與作曲家Jan Jirasek繼續搭檔，反而找來走紅捷克15年的搖滾團「Support Lesbians」（十分怪異的團名），為古典浪漫的詩作場景創作配樂，或許是想要創新吧，所謂「為古典作品注入現代氣息」之類的，在沒有影像搭配的情況下，搖滾團的電子樂音，聽起來十分亂不搭的，不過原聲帶裡面，有捷克文的詩句朗誦，生動的朗誦韻律，讓這張原聲帶增色不少。

因為Karel Hynek Mácha的這部詩集，五月一日儼然捷克情人節，情侶會在五月一日這天，到布拉格市郊的Petřín公園，Mácha雕像前獻花擁吻，五月捷克正值櫻桃樹花開，不少情人會到公園散步賞花。

Late evening, on the first of May -
The twilit May - the time of love.
Meltingly called the turtle-dove,
Where rich and sweet pinewoods lay.
Whispered of love the mosses trail,
The flowering tree as sweetly lied,
The rose's fragrant sigh replied
To love-songs of the nightingale.
In shadowy woods the burnished lake
Darkly complained a secret pain,
By circling shores embraced again;
And heaven's clear sun leaned down to take
A road astray in azure deeps,
Like burning tears the lover weeps.
