上星期在玉芬家吃到一種甜得不得了的葡萄
而且 還帶著一種特殊的香氣...

玉芬讓我帶一袋回家給Bond
他果然比較會形容
他說 這葡萄吃起來怎麼像荔枝?!

可我怎麼都想不起要用什麼水果來形容它的香氣

於是隔天又到那家小日本超市
一進門就看到那一袋袋熟悉的葡萄
一磅1.39, 還算便宜

星期六晚上有客人來
洗了一大盤給他們吃
大家都好奇的問 那裡買來這麼好吃的葡萄呢
隔天, 這對姐妹花竟然從Fremont殺到Cupertino來買
因為她們太愛那個味道了

我星期一又去買3袋
哇 一磅漲到2.49
3袋就要17元了呢 小老闆說 因為季節快結束 所以進價漲了
不過只要大家吃得開心 貴一點也無妨 ^^

今天Cindy im 問我葡萄的事
原來昨天Bond和她一起吃午飯 分給她2粒
讓她唸唸不忘...

Medium-size, scrumptiously juicy and oval in shape, green muscat grapes offer a deliciously sweet flavor. This lovely emerald green grape is prized for its elegant appearance, rich perfume and intense sweetness.

< Nutritional Value >
Low in sodium, one cup of grapes contains about 70 calories. Eating five daily servings of fruits and vegetables lowers the chances of cancer. A recent study found that eating nine or ten daily servings of fruits and vegetables, combined with three servings of low-fat dairy products, were effective in lowering blood pressure.

< Applications >
Definitely romantic, chefs especially love muscat grapes for making a special gourmet garnish. The grapes are dipped in beaten egg whites, sprinkled with granulated sugar and chilled until set. Fresh muscat grapes marry well with soft cheeses for a refreshing appetizer. Pair with roasted poultry and duck entrees. Toss in fruit, tuna, chicken or mixed green salads for a sweet bite. This grape loves puddings. To store, refrigerate unwashed grapes in a plastic or paper bag. Use within one week for optimum quality.
