The Uncommon Reader

The Uncommon Reader (非普通讀者):
uncommon reader相對應於common reader，點出故事的主角:The Queen of England。本書描述是女王迷上閱讀、悟出閱讀真義的虛擬故事，可以說是女王的書海中的探險。
閱讀本書感覺部分句子比較無法意會其意思，或是由於有些用字比較難/不普遍，或是有文化的隔閡(對英國的當代人物、歷史人物或文學著作不甚了解)，但這些並不妨礙閱讀的趣味性。

女王的閱讀之旅
1. 不經意愛上閱讀
    因為要對the traveling library略表支持的緣故，女王不經意借了一本書來看，也因此展開改變其生活的閱讀之旅。
2. 閱讀別人推薦的書。 
3. 閱讀自己想看的書，並積極與書本對話。
4. 了解閱讀的意涵。
