Sounds and Fury

保羅麥卡尼先生今年六十四歲了。
這個數字的重要，是因為四十年前Beatles寫下一首歌When I am Sixty-four。
那是他們最可愛的一首歌，簡直是「執子之手、與子偕老」的白話版。
雖然其實約翰和喬治都不太喜歡這首歌放進專輯，雖然這裡面的溫馨和搖滾的叛逆不太合---同一時期的英國樂隊The Who唱的是I hope I die before I get old。
不過，多少音樂青年曾經對著他們的愛人唱過這首歌：
When I get older losing my hair,
Many years from now.
Will you still be sending me a Valentine
Birthday greetings bottle of wine.

談到Beatles，要講到小草N號志工在上面文章的一篇留言，我想這個問題很值得討論，所以放在這裡。
他說
「我買到一張台灣頗早期的披頭翻版唱片

這真的是非常重要的問題，但老實說，我自己沒有答案，但我想很多朋友應該比我更瞭解。
我只能說，沒有這些前智財權時代的翻版唱片，我們不可能有那些音樂資訊。
