Sounds and Fury

「自由永遠是指異議者的自由。」
這是Rosa Luxemburg的名言。盧森堡是真正偉大的社會主義者，並且是一個民主社會主義者。「沒有民主就不是真正的社會主義」，她說。


1919年她在柏林被推下河中而死。我在柏林造訪了她遇害之處的河畔，柏林政府設立了一個非常非常特別的碑，讓人無比震撼。


看看這個二十世紀初真誠社會主義者的奮鬥與犧牲，我不知道在他身後一世紀，為何還有這麼多左派對共產國家的威權統治盲目-----包括現在對於中國？
"Freedom only for the members of the government, only for the members of the Party — though they are quite numerous — is no freedom at all. Freedom is always the freedom of dissenters. The essence of political freedom depends not on the fanatics of 'justice', but rather on all the invigorating, beneficial, and detergent effects of dissenters.
