【插播】Cop Shoot Cop和Firewater背後的Tod A.

　　最近呢，理論上我每天晚上都在努力寫文章歌頌我對DM和Martin的愛，不過呢……其實這幾個白天大部分的時間我都在聽新歡Cop Shoot Cop跟Firewater的歌。這兩個團裡負責寫歌唱歌的傢伙都是同一個人，Tod A（本名是Tod Ashley）。我實在很喜歡他寫的歌詞，還有他那個「有點毛邊」的男中音。
　　Cop Shoot Cop的「聲音」跟Firewater其實不太一樣。先前說Cop Shoot Cop被分類成工業搖滾團；Firewater卻是「東歐吉普賽音樂＋龐克搖滾」。看到Tod A這樣自我定義的時候，我本來有點震驚。龐克搖滾？Punk？PUNK？……我個人一直覺得我跟龐克沒什麼緣分啊……龐克通常不是我第一次聽就會喜歡的東西，我很喜歡Tod A做的東西，唔，一定是因為他混了很多東西吧。Tod A做的Firewater專輯的確是越做混越多東西進去，而且到了2005年又有個更重大的轉折：那年他跟妻子分開，小布希又連任（爆），他沮喪得很，甚至不太確定自己還想不想做音樂，所以就帶著幾件衣服跟筆記型電腦，很帥氣地跑去大旅行了，三年間穿越中東、印度次大陸跟南亞，本來還想去阿富汗、伊朗跟土耳其，但是因為身體垮掉、路上又太危險（旅客會在半路上被綁架……），他只好在開伯爾山口接近阿富汗邊境的地方停下來。這時候他已經流浪三年了。這段路上寫的歌，就變成2008年的專輯The Golden Hour，當然也混入了中東跟印度的音樂。

　　這時候我應該講一個造成反高潮的事實嗎？The Golden Hour不是我最喜歡的Firewater專輯！XD但是，卯起來就出國流浪三年、回來以後還很驕傲地表示要繼續這樣居無定所下去，對於我這種人（我簡直就是XX街地縛靈啊）來說，實在太有趣了。美好的音樂背後是個有趣的人和有趣的故事，對我來說魅力無限。
　　不過下面我貼的這些歌，都是上面提到的漫遊發生之前寫的了。下面這些歌都很可愛（但是他的歌並不都是可愛型的……只是不是可愛路線的歌就比較難找到mv），歌詞有種陰森的幽默感。

Firewater的Woke Up Down，雖然是這麼個歌名，但歌曲可愛到爆。這隻MV不知道為什麼跑的速度很慢，要等很久影片才會跑完。



可憐到有點好笑的歌詞（我真沒良心）

這是Cop Shoot Cop的Any Day Now



這首歌的歌詞，看了會有一種不知道要狂笑還是悲傷的感覺。很奇怪的是，歌名應該是Any Day Now，某些歌詞網站上卻標成One of these Days……

　　現在我有點在意某件事。據說他的歌詞有受到Tom Waits的影響，我到現在都還沒聽過Tom Waits的歌耶。我是不是應該去聽一下咧？聽了以後會不會大驚然後覺得Tod A其實沒那麼有趣呢？或者又會替自己開一個更大的坑？（Tom Waits到現在有多少張唱片了啊……真可怕。）

PS：現在突然想起來，過年期間好多人要出門玩耍。曲辰，回來請記得某某人要你帶的石獅子啊（爆）。另有友人某甲過年期間要去某塊大陸漫遊，雖然時間不多沒辦法遊太遠，卻還敢不規劃詳細的行程，決定「見機行事」，身為XX街地縛靈的我也是很欽佩，請您快快樂樂出門平平安安回來喔～（揮手）。如果真的碰到什麼神奇的遭遇，以至於從短期旅遊變成大旅行……（驚）總之，要回來跟我講到底看到什麼就對了！！
